Understanding the importance of having a healthy mouth and the freedom and confidence that comes with it, Dr. Dayna Cassandra's greatest joy is delivering care that makes patients feel great about the investment they've made in their smiles. She has done so for 20 years, staying true to her vision by always taking time to give her best to every patient.

"I enjoy the process of uncovering the reasons why a smile is changing, and how I can restore or rejuvenate it with proper function leading to beautiful aesthetics,"- she says.

Celebrating her first appearance on Bergen County's Top Dentist list, Dr. Cassandra is a deserving recipient of the honor. She has long been driven by a purpose of discovering reasons why a person's smile may decline over time. Her advanced training helps identify the specifics of tooth wear and decay for proper diagnosis and treatment; to enable long term health and aesthetics for each patient.

Dr. Cassandra established her private practice in Paramus in 2006 and has made it a point of emphasis to maintain a state-of-the-art facility equipped with all the latest in treatment options. Many patients come to her through referrals for sleep dentistry, routine restorative work, comprehensive care, or extensive treatment.

A graduate of the University of Maryland Dental School, Dr. Cassandra completed her residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. She is an advocate of and active participant in continuing education. To further her vast dental expertise, she has trained at the Pankey Institute, the world's oldest and most prestigious teaming center providing dentists with the highest quality post-graduate training available. She is a Faculty Club member of Spear Education and an assistant clinical professor at NYU's Rosenthal Institute, Center for Advanced Aesthetics.

Nikki

Clinical Director

Nikki has been a valuable member of Dr. Cassandra & Associates for over three years, currently serving as the Clinical Director. In her role, she ensures that all doctors and staff are on time, prepared, and that the office runs smoothly by offering her assistance in all aspects of operations.

Outside of the office, Nikki is a Certified NJ Makeup Artist, a profession she has pursued since 2017. She dedicates most of her weekends to working on weddings, which she considers her favorite part of the job. After the challenges of the 2020 pandemic, Nikki sought a new challenge and found herself at Dr. Cassandra’s office, where she has been learning hands-on, gaining new skills and knowledge.

Growing up as the youngest of six siblings, Nikki was inspired by her oldest sister, Amy, who worked as a Dental Assistant for over 20 years. Amy’s influence played a significant role in Nikki’s decision to venture into this new field, despite having no prior experience.

Juggling two careers in completely different fields, Nikki is driven daily by the inspiration she finds in helping people feel their best. She feels incredibly fortunate to have two careers she loves and cannot imagine herself anywhere else.

Dana

Treatment Coordinator

Dana has been in the dental field for the last 10 years, starting her career as a dental assistant. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Hunter College, she continued to work as a lead dental assistant until about two years ago, when she joined Dr. Dayna Cassandra and Associates as a treatment coordinator.

Being part of a team that genuinely cares about improving people's oral health and transforming smiles is one of the most rewarding aspects of her position. Her goal is to create an environment where patients have a clear, well-defined plan to improve their dental health, while guiding them through the uncertainty of what comes next.

Dana was drawn to dentistry because it blends medicine and art, offering the best of both worlds. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time in nature with her husband, son, and German Shepherd, whether that’s at the beach, hiking, or biking.
